Two air crew members have been arrested after hundreds of thousands of pounds’ worth of cocaine was found at Heathrow Airport The two women, who worked for the airline Arik Air, had arrived on a flight from the Nigerian capital Lagos which landed yesterday evening. They were arrested after a package of drugs, with an estimated street value of £600,000, was discovered by Border Force officers on a bus which had been used to transport air crew, the Home Office said. Heathrow Airport’s Border Force director Marc Owen said: “Drug trafficking is a serious offence and those convicted face long prison sentences.” The pair, aged 37 and 32 from Nigeria, remain in Border Force custody.
